Tell the Canada Pension Plan:
Divest from ICE!

22 million people across Canada work hard to secure a stable future, the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) is quietly investing those very savings into Trump’s terror project south of the border.

A breaking report from our friends at Stand.Earth confirms that the CPP has major investments in contractors that prop up ICE. That means our pension money is being used to prop up the agency responsible for kidnapping people off the street, separating families and ripping children from their parents’ arms, violating due process, and the racist targeting of people of colour.

But here’s the deal: these funds belong to us, the workers. The CPP is accountable to us. And in recent weeks, we’ve seen that public pressure can move mountains – like when Canadian billionaire Jim Pattison pulled out from building an ICE facility after facing huge public backlash.

If we can ramp up the public outrage, we can show the top decision makers at the CPP that the people who pay into this fund demand an immediate end to their support of ICE contractors. Will you sign this petition now demanding that the CPP divest from ICE?

We know we can win this. In 2019, the CPP was caught investing in two ICE contractors during Trump’s first term. But after a public pressure campaign from Leadnow and SumofUs forced its hand, it divested.

Workers deserve control over their own wages and retirement funds. And we did not sign up to fund and profit from the violent repression of people by investing in ICE contractors.

Let’s ramp up the pressure to make sure the CPP stops supporting ICE violence and divests now. Will you sign the petition now?
