The employer sent a memo at 5:21pm tonight directly to the membership trying to present themselves as though they ‘are human’ and are ‘looking out for members.’ The union is committed to transparency and presenting the facts.
The Court declared that Bill 124 to be void and of no effect. It also retained jurisdiction to address the issue of remedies for the constitutional violation.
As you all know, the employer has submitted a response to the Union. The Bargaining team reviewed the employers pass and have prepared and sent a response to the employer.
The frontline workers at CHS deliver crucial services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community; services they rely on when they visit the doctor, take a class, or appear in court. These workers are members of CUPE 2073.
